Dell SXPS 13’s warranty should tssttcorp inhome service. Both, flashing a firmware on a drive and vice versa, will kill the drive definitely. I’m assuming this isn’t a typical issue? However the dell teach replaced it with a LG one and it seems a little bit better Then try flashing again with the firmware that is designed for your drive.

What operating mode is set for the controller? Mine sounds like that too – like an airplane taking off and I can hear the disc vibrating. Damn… Too Much Problems. You can reinstall that software later, if you need it.

Does it still give you the same error message as before? As I said, I changed mine prior to reinstalling XP.
