Somehow the settings are being translated into a database connection. This seems more like a driver issue than the script. You could try ODBC trace if they’ve implemented it, to see what VS is trying systm do, but that probably wouldn’t help you get round your problem anyway. Sign up using Facebook.

Could you please update the Driver and check it. The best thing to do would be to create a JIRA odvc with details about the remedy system since that used to work fine so I was told: Sign up using Email and Password.
Update So I have done the code by hand and now seem a few steps forward, but still blind. This not feasible for the task at hand as the user needs to remain logged into remedy, and the app I’m writing will be read only for data. Yes, we can connect to the Database directly using the Database Connection types, but then we will have to do a number of conversions on a lot of fields.
There will be no editing of ticket data from remedy, I just need to read the tickets and provide tallies and alerts for our helpdesk.
